I found this band over myspace and apparently they've been popular for quite a while. They are getting ready to release their new album, "Walk This Way." I was able to find their most popular song and post it. I thought it was quite catchy. They have the synth/pop/rock song, so I hope you can enjoy it!

I thought that an acoustic version of the popular single, "Superstar," put an interesting twist to the song. It gets tiring listening to the same song on the radio over and over, so this was a bit refreshing. "Fighters" is also another one of my favorites on Lupe Fiasco's recent album, "The Cool." Matthew Santos, who is also featured in "Superstar" adds fantastic vocals to the tracks.

"After months of speculation it is confirmed that this Boston boy band will be getting back together. They all appeared on the Today Show to officially announce the news last week. It has also recently been announced that they will headline Z100/NY’s Zootopia on May 17th. Along with touring they are set to release a new album this summer!! This is a newly leaked track rumored to be the first single. "Click Click Click" has a r&b/pop feel to it, and is a bit catchy [if you like this kind of music]."

Bear Colony - Hospital Room Aren't For Lovers

Bear Colony is consisted of seven members who came together just to make music for fun. This collaborative effort was a result of the hospitalization of one of the band members. I researched the group and found that the leader had an interesting story. The group's myspace said,"Misdiagnosed with Crohns Disease, Vince was bedridden for several months, and began writing the songs in his bedroom as an outlet. The frightening uncertainty surrounding the condition spurred Vince to channel his frustrations into creativity, and the songs that comprise the debut full-length are a chronicle of the fears endured."
