Lately, I've been listening to The Ditty Bops, who have recently released their third album "Summer Rains." Their sound is really laid back; it's upbeat and fun or calming and haunting, with influence of folksong, western swing, jazz, and classical rock. They're an odd pair of girls, but they make beautiful melodies with all sorts of instruments in the background. (A mandolin and a washboard?!) I hope you like it!

I think that all three of these are amazing, so give them a listen and see if you like them too! I have to say that the most interesting of these three would be the Daft Punk remix. The group that covered the song included: Alphabeat, Leon Jean-Marie, and ATG-favorite FrankMusik. They redid the vocals and even changed up the beat. Out of all the versions of this song that I have heard, this is probably the best one. But nothing is better than the original!

I was originally not going to post this song when it first leaked. I didn't find it appealing enough, but now that I found this version featuring a James Fauntleroy, I decided to post it. Sorry for the DJ shoutouts.

The first single, I Kissed a Girl, off her new album, "One of the Boys," is due out June 17th. She is most popular for her song "Ur So Gay" and her other songs "Self Inflicted" and "Thinking of You" were featured on the popular television show, The Hills.
The lyrics are somewhat explicit, so if you're sensitive, you don't have to listen. As for the others, enjoy!

This American boy group called NLT (Not Like Them) is quite similar to all of the boy bands from the 90's. I have to say that they are pretty good, because they have a bunch of great producers and songwriters helping them out including Timbaland, Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic, and Marques Houston. "He said, She said" was their first single and "Karma" is their newest one. The video was just released, and I have to say their dance skills aren't that bad.
